My Amazing Parents

Here are some amazing and beautiful photos from my mom's childhood.

My mom, about the time she graduated from High School...maybe a little younger. Isn't she beautiful!

Love the snaggle-toothed smile!!!
My mom and her parents.

This is a cute photo of my Dad with his little dog.
My parents about the time they got married. They were soooo young!

A nice professional photo of my parents in the 80's

I love this classic photo from the 70's! Groovy!!! my dad with his long sideburns, my mom's interesting print shirt. They are standing in front of the rock house we lived in for many of my growing up years. love this photo!

I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause... My dad often dressed up as Santa to give presents to the kids.
One of my favorite photos of my parents at the beach in Northern California.

A generational photo: I am the child holding the puppy, sitting on my Grandma Rogers lap, my sister Carol is the baby, with my Great Grandma and Grandpa Ramsay and my mom standing in the back. The photo was taken in my GGG Ramsay's yard. I loved playing there when I was growing up. They had an irrigation ditch, pigs, cows, a barn, a tree swing! Awesome!!!
This is a 5 generation photo. my daughter Claudia is the infant, me, my mom and her dad and my great grandma Rogers. She died shortly after Claudia was born.

This is one of my favorite family photos from when I was a kid. We were in New Mexico where my dad was born.

Another of my favorite family photos.

CLAUDIA & JOSH

Our oldest daughter, Claudia, was married to Josh a little over a year ago.

Josh is attending medical school and Claudia is an esthetician at a spa. What a beautiful couple! The day of their wedding was a perfect day! the second photo of our family is us wearing our hillbilly teeth to prove to Josh what he has already accused us of...yeah, we're hicks!

THE BOY

Kendon graduated from High School and is now attending college. These are some of his senior photo's. He is enjoying singing in a college acapella choir, taking woodworking from my cousin and helping coach a HS wrestling team along with a couple of serious classes while he prepares to leave for his mission in a few months.

OUR GIRLS

love these candid shots of the girls!

THE BEST SNOW TRIP EVER!!!

We had a good snow storm up north during the second week in February so we went up near Flagstaff to play in the snow on Valentine's Day. I've never been a big fan of playing in the snow...
it's cold...you get all wet and sometimes muddy...it takes hours to get there and to find the right spot...ugh!!! But Bly always loves a chance to take the kids, so grudgingly, I went.
We stopped to buy MORE gear which is another thing I hate about snow trips...

we always need more gear.
Anyway, when we got there, found a place, and hit the slopes. The sun was shining! The snow was perfect! and we all stayed warm and dry with our new gear. What a great day!!!

We had so much fun sledding...

eating fried chicken...

building a snowman...

And then... Dad tackled it.

We ended our trip with some yummy Hot Cocoa that we fixed on our little camp stove. When we got back into the car and headed home, Natilee slept most of the way home, but then she suddenly woke up and emphatically proclaimed..."That was the BEST SNOW TRIP EVER!!!" It was worth all the hassle. I think we all agree...it WAS the BEST SNOW TRIP EVER!!!

HIKING THE WHITE TANKS

The Westovers came to visit us the day after Christmas. We had a great day hiking at the White Tanks Mountains.
